Handmade and Letterpress Wedding Invites and Wedding Stationery - Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Can I get a sample?

Yes. Samples are available to purchase on each design's page and sample postage is FREE within Ireland.

What is letterpress stationery?

Letterpress is one of the oldest printing methods around and arguably one of the most beautiful. It involves a very intricate process of ‘pressing’ the text and design into cotton card and takes time, effort and expertise.

How many invitations should I order?

One invitation is usually for two guests so a general rule of thumb is to halve the number of guests and add 20. The same applies for ceremony booklets. (It is a good idea to order extra wedding invitations to allow for handwriting mistakes and expanding guest lists.)

When do I need to order my wedding invitations?

Orders are produced in production periods troughout the year. See the next production period here. Completion date will depend on the size of the order but orders generally take 4 weeks to produce.

How long will it take from ordering to receiving my stationery?

It will depend on the size of the order but orders generally take 4 weeks from proof approval to produce.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no minimum order quantity for handmade stationery.
There is a minimum order quantity of 30 items for letterpress stationery.

How much does delivery cost?

The standard P&P charge is €20 per parcel to any address in the Republic of Ireland.

Is a deposit required and if so, how much?

50% deposit is payable at the time of ordering. The balance is then due before the order is dispatched and cheques must be cleared before doing so. (Please note that cheques usually take 7-10 working days to clear.)

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by postal order, cheque, bank draft or PayPal. A transaction fee will apply to payments made via PayPal.(PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express but NOT Laser. Please note, you do NOT need a PayPal account to use PayPal.)

Who do I make cheques payable to?

Creative Invites.

Do you print guests’ names on the invitations?

Yes, we offer this service for handmade wedding invitations (but not letterpress) for €0.25 per invitation. We also provide addressed envelopes for €0.30 per invitation. We do not post invitations to your guests.

How do I supply the information for the mass booklet?

what people say...

I've just sent out my invites and I've had loads of comments on how elegant and unique they are and the quality is amazing! I've not had such prompt responses from any other supplier and nothing was too much trouble for you. I will definitely be recommending you to any engaged couples I know!
