How to Order
Choose a Design
We have an extensive choice of handmade and letterpress wedding stationery, so take your time and browse through all the options available. If you need help narrowing down your preferences, you can order samples to help you make your decision.
Puchase a Sample
If your timeframe allows, we recommend that you purchase a sample of the wedding stationery you are interested in. This enables you to experience the tactile quality and finish of the stationery first hand and show it to friends and family.
Establish required quantities of each item of stationery
We advise that you finalise your guest list as early as possible. This will help you with many areas of your wedding plans, not just your stationery. It is a good idea to order extra wedding invitations to allow for handwriting mistakes and expanding guest lists. Orders for extra stationery will be treated as a new order and will not be given priority over other orders.
Complete the order form
Please note, there is a handmade stationery order form and a letterpress stationery order form so make sure to complete the correct one. Take care with the details when completing the form as this will reduce the need for changes at a later date and ensure that your order is completed as quickly as possible.
Submit the order form
Once completed, submit the Order Form to us. We will contact you by email to confirm receipt and to verify the details. If you choose to pay by PayPal, we will send you a PayPal invoice. Otherwise, please post a cheque, bank draft or postal order made payable to Creative Invites. Please note that orders will not be commenced until 50% deposit has been received.
Proofs
Depending on which option you choose on the Order Form, we will either
a) send a complete hard copy of each item of stationery
b) send text proofs by email and swatches of the card/ribbon/embellishment etc. by post or
c) send text proofs by email only. Please note that proofs for all letterpress stationery orders will be sent by email as a pdf/jpeg attachment. All proofs must be approved in writing before production commences.
Order Production
Orders are produced in production periods troughout the year. See the next production period here. Completion date will depend on the size of the order but orders generally take 4 weeks to produce.
Order Delivery
Orders will only be dispatched once full payment has been received and cleared. Your stationery will be sent by registered post or courier so please ensure that you provide a delivery address where there will be someone to sign for the parcel.
